Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Nurse Assistant for the Oncology unit in Michigan. This part-time role (24 hours) follows a midnight shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, supporting RN staff in providing compassionate patient care in a high-acuity environment.

Under an RN’s supervision, you will assist with safety and comfort, contribute to patient care planning, and respond to emergencies. CNA certification is preferred, with opportunities for ongoing education and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program OR currently enrolled in nursing program with Fundamentals of Nursing completed.
• Foreign-trained and licensed RN without MI RN license may apply in certain circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meeting safety and comfort needs of patients under RN supervision.
• Provide input to help plan and implement patient care.
• Respond to emergent situations according to established procedures.
• Participate in continuing education to enhance skills.
