Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical Surgical Oncology. The role coordinates and delivers compassionate patient care, leading with the nursing process on a collaborative healthcare team.

Midnight shift, 36 hours per week. BSN preferred; current Michigan RN licensure required; BCLS certification. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care and document teaching for patients and families.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process.
• Delegate, supervise, and document patient care and teaching.
• Keep the healthcare team informed about patient and family information.
• Address care variances and implement solutions.
• Lead coordination of care with a focus on quality and compassion.
