Job summary

Henry Ford St. John Hospital in Detroit is seeking a Nurse Assistant to support oncology patients on a 36-hour weekly schedule with 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm–7:30am). Under RN supervision, you will provide direct patient care, ensure safety and comfort, and contribute to care planning.

Education: HS diploma/GED; CNA preferred; completion of a Nurse Assistant program or nursing coursework. Foreign-trained RN eligibility and medical assistants may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or CNA prep/certification in progress.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program or active nursing coursework may qualify.
• Foreign-trained RN relocation and licensure status may apply to this role.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, performs patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs.
