Job summary
Henry Ford Health is seeking a Nurse Assistant – Oncology at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, MI. This full-time night shift (36 hours) supports the RN in delivering safe and compassionate patient care and contributes to care planning and safety.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CNA preferred, and completion of a Nurse Assistant program or current enrollment in nursing with relevant coursework. BLS Heart Saver is required on orientation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- CNA preferred.
- Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (titles may vary).
- Currently enrolled in a nursing program with Fundamentals of Nursing completed.
- Foreign trained RN relocation to the US without MI license.
- Medical Assistant program with or without experience.
- At least one year of NA/PCT/PAT or similar experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care under RN supervision.
- Provide input to assist in planning and implementing patient care.
- Respond to emergent situations according to procedures.
- Participate in continuing education.
- Follow Henry Ford Health System Team Member Standards of Excellence.
