Job summary
Henry Ford Health in Clinton Township, MI is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Assistant to support the Oncology team under RN supervision. You will perform basic patient care tasks, assist with safety and comfort, and help manage daily needs in a busy hospital setting.
You may be enrolled in a nursing program or hold a Nurse Assistant certification. BLS Heart Saver orientation is provided. Flexible evenings/weekends and hands-on experience with a leading health system are offered.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Nurse Assistant program completion preferred; titles may vary (PCT, PAT).
- Enrollment in a nursing program acceptable with Fundamentals of Nursing completed.
- Foreign trained and licensed RN relocating without Michigan RN license considered.
- Medical Assistant program possible qualification.
- At least 1 year of NA/PCT/PAT experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist RN in planning and implementing patient care under supervision.
- Provide input to safety and comfort needs of patients.
- Respond to emergent situations according to procedures.
- Participate in continuing education and adhere to performance standards.
