Minnesota Oncology in Chaska, MN seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our rural-care focused team. The incumbent will be based in the Chaska clinic with regular travel to the Waconia clinic and Ridgeview Medical Center in Arlington, MN.

The role emphasizes patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with physicians to provide high-quality cancer care. Requires NP/PA certification and oncology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• MSN from an accredited program is required.
• Current Minnesota RN license and NP certification are required.
• Minimum of three years of practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
• Oncology experience is preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients.
• Initiates and documents interventions; evaluates responses and prescribes therapies.
• Performs procedures with minimal supervision.
• Provides patient/family education and promotes wellness.
• Completes patient charge capture and medical record documentation timely.
• May mentor APP students and provide staff education.
