Job summary

Mayo Clinic Health System Minnesota is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Medical Oncology practice in Albert Lea, with planned outreach to Owatonna. The team collaborates with Radiation Oncology, Surgery, Radiology, and Pathology to diagnose, assess, and treat various cancers.

Primary responsibilities include history and physicals, ordering and interpreting results, care planning, patient education, and follow-up; outpatient focus with potential infusion

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner Masters-prepared with MN RN and APRN license and certification as FNP/ANP/ACNP.
Physician Assistant: NCCPA certification and MN State Board registration.
Active BLS certification and DEA registration at start date

Responsibilities

Obtain Hematology/Oncology histories and physicals.
Order, interpret, diagnose, and communicate diagnostic results to patients and care team.
Devise and implement treatment care plans.
Facilitate and deliver education on Hematology/Oncology conditions.
Provide Hematology/Oncology follow-up care.
Clinical time will be outpatient and may include infusion center support.
