Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for Oncology In House Registry Nights. The role involves coordinating nursing care for acutely ill patients, collaboration with the health team, and adherence to ANA standards. Requires BSN; ADN with commitment to BSN within three years acceptable.

BLS and other certifications may be required. Responsibilities include data collection, care planning, evaluation of patient progress, and participation in governance and ongoing projects

Qualifications

• BSN required or preferred as listed.
• ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within three years of first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data, develops an individualized plan, coordinates care delivery and evaluates progress toward outcomes.
• Directs care and utilizes any assistant involved in providing direct patient care.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians and staff to create a documented plan focused on outcomes.
• Participates in governance, committee work, and unit projects.
• Evaluates and documents patient responses to nursing interventions in the health record.
