Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a part-time Staff Nurse for the Medical-Surgical-Oncology In-House Registry. The role is 1.2 hours per week (0.03 FTE) with hourly pay between $48 and $55, offering a comprehensive benefits package.

The position requires a BSN or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN, active RN licensure, BLS and travel within the area, with a focus on collaborative, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within 3 years.
• RN licensure required in state of practice.
• BLS certification; ACLS/PALS depending on unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data, creates an individualized plan and coordinates care.
• Directs care and utilizes assistants appropriately.
• Collaborates with patients, families, physicians and staff; documents outcomes.
• Participates in governance, committees and unit projects.
• Evaluates patient responses and updates the plan in the health record.
• Uses evidence to guide nursing decisions.
