Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and eligibility for certification examination (ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS).
  • Associate’s degree with certification as Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
  • Military program graduate with MLS/CLS certification.
  • Grandfathered Medical Technologist with current MLS/CLS certification.
  • Ability to implement and perform clinical laboratory procedures according to proper standards and regulations.
  • Must submit to a Color-Acuity screening Test.

Responsibilities

  • Performs and interprets laboratory tests in the Clinical Laboratory for the diagnosis and care of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
  • Interprets results to guide patient care and treatment decisions.
