Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical lab science or medical technology and eligible for certification.
• Associates degree in lab science or medical technology with certification as Medical Technologist/MLT/CLS.
• Military program graduate in health science with certification as Medical Technologist/MLT/CLS.
• Grandfathered Medical Technologist with certification as Medical Technologist/MLT/CLS.
• Color-Acuity screening test required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and interprets laboratory tests in the clinical laboratory for patient care across age groups.
• Ensures implementation of procedures according to proper standards and regulations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in laboratory science or medical technology

Associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology

Military program graduate in health science
