Job summary

Physician Partners of America is seeking a Medical Scribe to provide accurate documentation for patient charts under physician direction.

You will enter data into the electronic record, transcribe histories and exams, schedule appointments, and support the clinical team to improve efficiency across Florida and Texas clinics.

Strong English communication and basic MS Office/EHR skills are required; a high school diploma and relevant certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Scribe Certification preferred.
• Minimum six months experience as a medical scribe.
• Pain Management Practice prior experience helpful.
• Cooperative work attitude toward coworkers, management, patients, visitors, and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into patient’s electronic record; scan and index documents accurately to the electronic medical records.
• Transcribe patient histories and physical exams.
• Document consultations.
• Schedule appointments.
• Assist clinical team as assigned by clinical coordinator, physician and mid-level provider.
