Job summary

Compass Oncology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the Radiation team at the East Cancer Center in Clackamas, OR. This full-time role focuses on efficient patient flow, rooming patients, vitals, and provider communications to support high-quality cancer care.

The position requires a High school diploma, CPR certification, and 1–3 years of MA experience. Certification in an accredited MA program is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years as medical assistant or nursing assistant preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms and treatment areas.
• Record vital signs, height, weight, and allergies prior to visits.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures as requested.
• Administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections.
• Maintain room disinfection and prepare supplies.
• Handle calls, prescriptions, and referrals as directed by physicians.
• Schedule tests, procedures, and follow-up visits.
