Job summary

Compass Oncology is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Vancouver, WA location. The role supports physicians and clinicians, helps manage patient flow, handles clinic tasks, and aids in exams and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a Medical Assistant certificate, CPR certification, and 1–3 years of experience with phlebotomy preferred, in a fast-paced oncology setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum (1–3) years of experience as a medical assistant or nursing assistant, preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, assist physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment.
• Promote efficient patient flow and patient care during exams and procedures.
• Perform clinic support tasks including clerical duties, answering phones, and maintaining schedule.
• Administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections as directed.
• Maintain exam/treatment room disinfection protocols and stock rooms as needed.
