Job summary

Compass Oncology is hiring a Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinicians in a busy outpatient clinic in Tigard, OR. You will help with patient rooming, vitals, charting, and administrative tasks to keep patient flow smooth.

Requires 1–3 years of MA experience, CPR, and an accredited MA program certificate preferred. Salary ranges from $21.09 to $35.65 per hour; final offer based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certificate of graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms and treatment areas.
• Record vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
• Obtain patient records required by physicians prior to treatment.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms and supplies; assist physicians with exams/procedures.
• Administer injections as directed; maintain infection control protocols.
• Schedule tests, procedures, and follow-up visits; coordinate patient communications.
