Job summary

Compass Oncology in Clackamas, OR is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for a full-time, 40-hour workweek. You will support physicians and clinicians by taking vitals, rooming patients, and handling clerical tasks to ensure smooth patient flow in a busy oncology clinic.

Qualified candidates have a Medical Assistant certificate (preferred), current CPR, and 1–3 years of MA or nursing assistant experience; phlebotomy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate of graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms and treatment areas.
• Record vital signs and patient data prior to physician visits.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures as requested.
• Prepare and stock exam and treatment rooms; maintain supplies.
