Compass Oncology is seeking a Medical Assistant in Tigard, OR, to support physicians and clinicians in a fast-paced oncology clinic. You will room patients, take vitals, assist with procedures, and manage clerical tasks while ensuring high-quality patient care.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, CPR certification, and 1–3 years of MA or nursing assistant experience; phlebotomy experience is preferred. Competitive benefits offered.

Formación

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a medical assistant or nursing assistant preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Under direct supervision, assists physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment.
• Promotes efficient patient flow and patient care (exams and procedures).
• Performs clinic support tasks including clerical duties, answering phones, and maintaining physician's schedule.
• Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
• Escort patients to and from exam rooms and offices; record patient data such as vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
• Obtain necessary patient records prior to treatment; prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms; assist with exams and procedures.
• Administer injections; maintain room disinfection protocols; process instruments and equipment.
• Answer patient calls; relay prescriptions and schedule tests, procedures, and follow-ups.

Educación

High school graduate or equivalent

Medical Assistants certificate preferred

CPR certification
