Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada is hiring a full‑time Medical Assistant in the Las Vegas, NV area. You will support physicians and clinicians, assist with exams and procedures, and help maintain patient flow in a busy oncology/hematology clinic.

Qualifikationen

• 0-5 years as a medical assistant or nursing assistant
• Phlebotomy experience preferred
• Current BCLS certification required
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred
• Some state regulations may require specific certifications for Medical Assistants

Aufgaben

• Escort patients to/from exam rooms and treatment areas
• Record patient data and vital signs before visits
• Obtain necessary patient records prior to treatment
• Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and supply orders
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures
• Administer injections as delegated by RN/physician
• Maintain room disinfection and infection control procedures
• Answer patient calls and perform administrative duties as needed
• Schedule surgeries, transfusions, and ordering tests as directed

Kenntnisse

Phlebotomy experience

BCLS certification

Certified Medical Assistant (preferred

Ausbildung

High school graduate or equivalent

MA certificate from accredited program (preferred)
