Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• 0–5 years as a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant.
• Current BCLS certification required.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to exam rooms and treatment areas.
• Records patient data including vitals before visits.
• Obtains patient records required by the physician.
• Prepares and stocks exam/treatment rooms; orders supplies.
