Job summary

Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for our Breast Surgery Center in Las Vegas. You will support physicians and clinicians, manage patient flow, take vitals, prepare exam rooms, and assist with procedures in a fast-paced oncology clinic.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, BCLS certification, and 0–5 years of MA or nursing assistant experience; certification as CMA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• 0–5 years as a medical assistant or nursing assistant.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Current BCLS certification required.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and treatment areas.
• Record vitals and patient data before physician visits.
• Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms; order supplies.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures as needed.
• Maintain infection control and room disinfection protocols.
• Support administrative tasks and telephone duties.
