Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada (CCCN) in Las Vegas, NV, seeks a full-time Medical Assistant to join our oncology team. You will work under direct supervision, assisting physicians, maintaining patient flow, and supporting exam and treatment rooms.

The role emphasizes patient data collection, vital signs, and coordination of care in a high‑touch oncology setting. Certification and BCLS are preferred; phlebotomy skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Certificate of graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• 0–5 years as a medical assistant or nursing assistant.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Current BCLS certification is required.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Some state regulations may require specific certifications to work as a Medical Assistant.

Responsabilités

• Escorts patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment rooms as appropriate.
• Records patient data before each physician visit, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
• Obtains all necessary patient records as required by the physician before treatment or procedures.
• Prepares and stocks exam/treatment rooms and orders supplies as needed.
• Assists physicians with exams and procedures as requested.
• May obtain blood samples and assist with injections as delegated by RN or physician.
