Job summary

Advocate Health seeks part-time Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse in Oshkosh to support Oncology Services. You will train in lab draws and patient rooming, handle vital signs, and assist clinicians to maintain smooth clinic flow.

Qualifications

• LPN or MA credentials with required training.
• Ability to perform routine and complex clinical tasks.
• Proficient computer skills including electronic medical records usage.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and rooms the patient for exam by taking vital signs and collecting information.
• Monitors and supports quality improvement measures with clinician notification.
• Performs laboratory procedures (e.g., swabs, cultures, specimen collection).
• Assists physicians with procedures such as pelvic exams, testing, and other procedures.
• Administers routine medications under orders or standing protocols.
• Manages referrals and tests as directed and communicates results to patients.
