Advocate Health in Oshkosh, WI seeks Medical Assistants and Licensed Practical Nurses to support patient care across exams and procedures. You will prepare patients, collect vital signs, document health information, and assist clinicians with a range of procedures and routine medications.

Qualifikationen

• LPN: Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in the state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required within 45 days or per dept. policy.
• Medical Assistant: completion of accredited program or 2 years MA experience in last 5 years.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and room the patient for exam by obtaining vital signs and gathering/documenting health information.
• Monitor and support Clinical Integration/Quality Improvement measures with clinician notification.
• Perform laboratory procedures (e.g., strep test, wound culture) using aseptic technique.
• Assist Physician/APC with procedures (e.g., pelvic exams, scratch testing, EMG, colposcopy).
• Administer routine medications under orders or standing protocols; immunizations, antibiotics, vitamins, topical agents.
