Job summary

Atrium Health Specialty Network, Inc is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Levine Cancer: Rock Hill clinic (LC: Oncology). This full-time position offers 40 hours per week and a pay range of $21.85–$32.80 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent clinical training.
• CMAs may have structured military clinical training as substitute.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming/visit tasks: vital signs, med reconciliation, history, screenings.
• Assists provider with procedures and lab duties including venipuncture.
• Performs POCT and CLIA-waived tests per standing orders.
• Administers medications and vaccines following safety rights.
• Handles refills, authorizations, scheduling, and referrals.
• Cross-trained for clinic-specific duties within MA scope.
• Maintains clean, stocked work areas and equipment.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate patient care knowledge.
