Job summary

UW Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for a 100% FTE, Monday to Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays. Shifts are 7:30a-4p or 8:30a-5p at the Carbone Cancer Center in northern Illinois. Compensation includes differential, overtime, and on-call pay.

Benefits include PTO, medical/dental/vision, retirement, and tuition assistance. Qualifications include an allied health degree or MA program completion, HS diploma, and active certification requirements.

Job description

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Monday - Friday, no weekends and no holidays. 8-hour shifts with varying start times: 7:30a-4p or 8:30a-5p. You will work at UW Health Carbone Cancer Center 3535 N Bell School Rd.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
• Overtime
• On-call pay

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained. Required
