Job summary

UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinic operations at the Rockford site. The role requires completing an accredited Associate degree or Medical Assistant program, or having at least two years of relevant experience.

CPR certification and active certification maintenance are required. On-site schedule includes varied shifts with benefits and career growth opportunities.

Job description

Work Schedule: 80% FTE, Monday-7:30-4:30 Tuesday-8:00-4:00 Wednesday-Off Thursday-7:00-4:00 Friday-7:00-3:00

You will work at UW Health N Bell School Medical Center 3505 N Bell School Rd.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

• At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained. Required
