UW Health Rockford is seeking a Medical Assistant for a 100% FTE, Monday–Friday role at Carbone Cancer Center. The position supports clinical workflows with emphasis on accurate documentation and patient care, with shifts starting around 7:30a or 8:30a.

You will work in a fast-paced clinic setting, performing basic clinical tasks, data entry, and patient support while ensuring high-quality, compassionate care. A strong emphasis on teamwork and adherence to certification standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
• RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification is required.
• Active certification must be maintained.

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Monday - Friday, no weekends and no holidays. 8-hour shifts with varying start times: 7:30a-4p or 8:30a-5p. You will work at UW Health Carbone Cancer Center 3535 N Bell School Rd.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
• Overtime
• On-call pay

Qualifications
