Job summary

UW Health in northern Illinois is hiring a Medical Assistant for 80% FTE with a Monday–Friday schedule at the N Bell School Medical Center. The role involves clinical support, patient flow, and EMR documentation on-site at 3505 N Bell School Rd.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree or MA program background (or 2+ years of relevant clinic experience), plus RMA/CCMA/NCCT and BLS/CPR certifications, with ongoing certification maintenance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate degree or Medical Assistant program, or have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
• RMA/CCMA/NCCT certification is required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification is required.
• Active certification must be maintained.

Work Schedule:

80% FTE, Monday-7:30-4:30 Tuesday-8:00-4:00 Wednesday-Off Thursday-7:00-4:00 Friday-7:00-3:00, you will work at UW Health N Bell School Medical Center 3505 N Bell School Rd.

Additional components of compensation may include:

Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Qualifications
