Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Staff LPN for the Oncology Unit at Doctors Hospital in Columbus. This full-time day-shift role runs 7am–7pm with weekend/holiday rotation.

The LPN provides direct nursing care, delegates tasks to UAPs, and collaborates with the care team to support patients along the health-illness continuum. The ideal candidate holds an Ohio LPN license, current BLS, and shares our commitment to safety, quality, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with Ohio license.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient health status and needs.
• Plan and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
• Evaluate responses to nursing interventions and adjust care plans.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to unlicensed staff per state criteria.
• Participate in process improvements and patient safety initiatives.
