Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an LPN to provide nursing care to patients and families across the health-illness continuum in diverse settings. The LPN will delegate tasks to UAPs under the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and act as a resource for associates, with no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements include an Ohio LPN license, a valid BLS certification, and successful completion of an Ohio Board of Nursing approved medication course. 40-hour weekly schedule in Athens department-based units.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (Required).
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Ohio.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Current Ohio nursing license and board-approved medication course completion.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document findings for patient and family care.
• Develop, coordinate, and monitor care plans and interventions across the health-wellness continuum.
• Delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel per state criteria and supervise accordingly.
• Contribute to quality improvement, patient advocacy, and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
