Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health seeks a Pharmacy Technician for the 340B Program at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center. This full-time role supports chemotherapy and IV med compounding in a cleanroom suite, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and inventory control.

Hours are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. No weekends or holidays. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and confidentiality is required; registration with the state board of pharmacy is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Requires Registration/Licensure with state board of pharmacy
• CPhT or ExCPT certification preferred
• High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Pharmacy Technology preferred for NC responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Completes area-specific work per standard processes and policies
• Serves as expert with equipment and technology in the area
• Maintains accurate records and timely documentation
• Supports communication with patients and care team
• Identifies quality improvement opportunities for safe, effective patient care
• Maintains knowledge and contributes to education of others
• Assists in implementing operational changes and site standardization
