Advocate Aurora Health's St. Luke's Medical Center Pharmacy is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support licensed pharmacists with preparation and distribution of medications, including labeling and safety checks.

Schedule: 20 hours per week, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, every other weekend and alternating holidays. Requirements: high school diploma or GED, state pharmacy registration, and certification (CPhT or ExCPT) within 18 months of start. No prior experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist licensed pharmacist with preparation and distribution of medications.
• Label and prepare medications, including hazardous drugs and controlled substances.
• Assist in medication distribution, inventory control, and documentation.
• Screen calls and route to appropriate staff; use pharmacy system for record keeping.
• Perform nonsterile compounding and sterile IV admixture as applicable.
• Ensure adherence to storage policies and participate in quality improvement where applicable.
