UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is seeking an experienced hospital pharmacy technician to lead inventory operations, align formulary, and oversee controlled substances with strict DEA compliance across Hinsdale and Glendale Heights locations.

This full-time, day-shift role covers multiple sites, mentors staff, enhances medication safety, supports regulatory audits, and partners with clinical teams to ensure continuous, high-quality pharmacy services.

Qualifications

2+ years of contemporary hospital pharmacy experience.
Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) or Licensed Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) license.
NHA Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
Pharmacy Technician training program completion preferred.
High school grad or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

Lead enterprise-level inventory operations, formulary alignment, and perpetual inventory accuracy.
Oversee controlled substance programs, diversion prevention efforts, and compliance with DEA policies.
Lead safety and quality initiatives in medication handling and continuous improvement.
Mentor staff and support technician development.
Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize patient care and readiness for inspections.
