Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Certified IV Admixture Technician to join our Kingwood clinic. This full-time role supports medication preparation, admixture in the clinic or licensed pharmacy, and inventory control under supervision.

Candidates should have a HS diploma, 3 years pharmacy experience, and IV certification preferred; Level I–Senior levels considered based on experience. On-site position with regular hours; benefits available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Entry level to three (3) years experience in a pharmacy.
• IV Certification strongly preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate or State Pharmacy Board requirement recommended.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medication orders by compounding or admixing medications under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Checks all orders for completeness of information.
• Verifies patient information and proper physician authorization.
• Checks all orders for insurance approval before admixing.
• Under a professional's supervision, admixes drugs as ordered by physician in an accurate and timely manner.
