Job summary

UCHealth in Colorado Springs is seeking an experienced RN leader to support the Oncology Outpatient Infusion unit. This full-time, days-shift role offers 80 hours per pay period onsite with competitive hourly pay based on experience.

The Nurse Manager will oversee staffing, care standards, and throughput to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes. Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, RN licensure, 3 years of related clinical experience, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Nursing.
State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
3 years of experience in related clinical areas.
BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS/CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Responsibilities

Assist the Nurse Manager with evaluating staff and developing standards of care.
Coach and develop staff; model effective communication and problem-solving; provide direct patient care.
Collaborate with CNS/Educator to meet educational needs to maintain continuity of care.
Help manage resources and distribute work; improve patient throughput across the organization.
Work with Nurse Manager to identify and resolve operational and budgetary issues and implement care protocols.
