Job summary

UCHealth is hiring for an on-site Nurse Leader to support the Outpatient Infusion Center in Aurora, CO. You will assist the Nurse Manager in staff evaluation, clinical standards, and staff development within a fast-paced environment.

You will help ensure safe patient care, oversee resource planning, and participate in implementing care protocols and strategic initiatives. A BSN is required with RN licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Nursing required.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS through AHA or Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
• 3 years of experience in related clinical areas.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Nurse Manager with evaluation of staff and development of standards of care.
• Coaches and develops staff; communicates effectively and collaborates with CNS/Educator to meet educational needs.
• Manages resources and distribution of work; facilitates processes to improve patient throughput.
• Works with the Nurse Manager to identify and resolve operational/budgetary, patient, and personnel issues; develops and evaluates care protocols and initiatives.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Education

Bachelor's in Nursing

Master's in Nursing (preferred)
