Job summary

MEP Health in Des Plaines, IL seeks a Registered Nurse for our Oncology Infusion Clinic to provide safe, compassionate care, assess patients, develop care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the clinical team.

The role focuses on venipuncture, drug administration, and supporting self-management through education; requires a BSN, IL RN license, BLS/CPR, and oncology infusion experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience; oncology/infusion experience preferred.
• Current Illinois RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and OCN/ONS certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and revise patient care plans to achieve desired outcomes.
• Assess patients, gather health data, and communicate plans and progress to patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Provide tailored patient and family education on disease management, emergency care, and medications.
• Support professional growth of colleagues and participate in research and quality improvement activities.
• Assist with technical procedures and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
