Job summary

MEP Health in Des Plaines, IL seeks a Registered Nurse for our Oncology Infusion Clinic to provide safe, compassionate care, assess patients, develop care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the clinical team.

The role focuses on venipuncture, drug administration, and supporting self-management through education; requires a BSN, IL RN license, BLS/CPR, and oncology infusion experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience; oncology/infusion experience preferred.
• Current Illinois RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and OCN/ONS certification (or willingness to obtain).

Role Overview:

Provide safe, compassionate oncology infusion nursing care, including patient assessment, care planning, education, and collaboration with the clinical team. Develop and evaluate individualized care plans, communicate effectively with patients and families, and support self-management through education and community resources. Engage in professional development, contribute to performance improvement, and assist with technical procedures such as venipuncture and drug administration.
