Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, seeks a PCC Infusion Registered Nurse with Oncology infusion experience to join our team. The RN will provide nursing care for a designated patient group using the nursing process in collaboration with other health-care professionals.

The successful candidate must be a graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program, hold NYS RN licensure, and maintain BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• Registered Nurse License-NYS.
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing duties for a group of patients using the nursing process.
• Documents assessments and progress accurately and timely.
• Promotes patient safety and quality, aligning with national safety goals.
• Communicates effectively with the health care team and families.
• Administers medications and parenteral therapy per policy, including blood products.
• Prioritizes care delivery and coordinates tasks independently or with delegation.
• Educates patients/families and assists in discharge planning.
