• Provides patient/family education and assists in discharge planning, considering readiness and barriers.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide nursing care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age-related criteria.

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program

Experience:

• One year Med/Surg experience preferred
• Oncology OR infusion experience required

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current Registered Nurse License in NYS
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association required
