Qualificações

• Must be a graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• Required Licenses: Registered Nurse License-NYS, Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsabilidades

• Performs other duties as aligned with the mission and values of the organization.

• Documents patient assessment, reassessment, progress toward goals and all required documentation accurately and timely.
• Promotes patient safety and quality including adherence to the National Patient Safety Goals.
• Communicates and collaborates effectively with health care team; escalates situations appropriately.
• Establishes caring relationships with staff, patients, families and other health care team members.
• Administers medications and parenteral therapy per policy, including blood administration.
• Establishes priorities for patient care and coordinates care independently or with delegation.
• Provides patient/family education and assists in discharge planning; considers readiness barriers and alternatives.
• Demonstrates knowledge to provide nursing care based on patient needs (physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, age).
