Job summary

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree required (PharmD or BS Pharmacy).
• Active NC pharmacist licensure or eligibility with timely licensure.
• Experience in hematology/oncology is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and caregivers about hematology/oncology infusion therapy plans.
• Answer drug information questions from medical staff and nurses.
• Coordinate medication-related aspects of transitional care.
• Serve as liaison to address medication access barriers and ensure timely delivery of specialty medications.
• Educate students and residents; precept pharmacy trainees.
