Job summary

University of Washington Medical Center – Northwest is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse to join our new Oncology unit in Seattle. The role supports chemotherapy and biotherapy administration, infusion care, and patient education during treatment cycles.

You will work per diem on 12-hour shifts with day/night rotations, require at least one year in oncology, and hold an active WA RN license (ONS chemotherapy certification preferred).

Qualifications

• One year of current or recent Oncology nursing experience.
• ONS Chemotherapy certification preferred.
• Active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for Oncology treatment.
• Place IVs, and initiate, assess and observe patients during infusions.
• Provide procedural support.
• Document all activities in the Electronic Medical Record.
• Provide care management education for patients and their families.
