Qualifications

• Seven years of medical office experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all front office functions, recruits, hires and supervises front office staff and develops performance goals.
• Prepares training sessions with staff regarding coding and charge entry and other front office functions.
• Coordinates office procedures with front office, medical staff, and billing office to ensure smooth flow of information.
• Participates in month-end close checklist to meet corporate timelines.
• Oversees insurance verification and patient financial counseling to inform patients of obligations.
• Ensures authorizations are obtained in a timely manner and reviews postings for accuracy.
