Swedish Hospital’s Kellogg Cancer Care Centers in Highland Park, IL seeks an Oncology Patient Financial Advocate to manage oncology patient financial matters, including insurance denials/appeals, pre-certifications, charity care, ABNs, and pharmaceutical program issues. The goal is to reduce uncompensated care.

You will handle pre-certification, charity care negotiations, and patient payment plans while coordinating with the Sr. Manager, Patient Registration and care teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or 10 years of applicable experience, required.
• Minimum 5 years in patient care setting with expert knowledge of billing and insurance, Particularly oncology.
• Demonstrated expertise in patient insurance and billing; charity care negotiations and patient payment plans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint.
