Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking an Oncology Sales Representative to drive the company’s oncology portfolio in the Shreveport, Louisiana region.

The role requires in-person engagement with physicians, hospitals, and other stakeholders to understand practice needs and deliver value through educational conversations and product solutions. The position covers Shreveport and nearby areas (Monroe, Alexandria in Louisiana and Tyler, Texas) with travel requirements and participation in national meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of sales experience OR a minimum of high school diploma with at least 8 years of equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Attain or exceed the assigned sales goals for the territory.
• Meet with key stakeholders to understand practice structure, business model, and key influencers, while building relationships.
• Communicate the patient-centered rationale for oncology products to customers.
