Merck is seeking an Oncology Sales Representative to grow our oncology business in the Shreveport, LA area. This field-based role involves visiting customers, educating key stakeholders, and driving toward sales goals while collaborating with the Oncology Customer Team Leader and district peers.

You will travel as required, participate in national meetings, and leverage data analytics to understand patient needs and practice dynamics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of sales experience OR a minimum of high school diploma with at least 8 years of equivalent experience.
• Equivalent experience can be professional sales experience, healthcare/scientific field with oncology experience being strongly preferred (non-sales), marketing experience, or military experience.

Responsabilités

• Attain or exceed the assigned sales goals for the geography.
• Understand customer needs and build business relationships with key stakeholders.
• Communicate patient-centered rationale for oncology products in indicated uses.
• Analyze market trends and account interdependencies to deploy short- and long-term plans.
