Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based professional to educate healthcare providers on payer processes, access programs, and reimbursement options. You will collaborate with oncology teams, monitor payer trends, and develop key accounts while maintaining territory relationships.

This role requires oncology/hematology experience, knowledge of coverage and billing, and HCIR credentialing, with travel across assigned cities in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Oncology and/or hematology-oncology experience preferred, including payer reimbursement knowledge.
• Understanding of coverage, coding, billing, and payer policies for accuracy.
• Familiarity with Medicare Parts A–D and reimbursement dynamics.
• Must meet HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain credentials.
• Strong territory and account management skills with travel readiness.
• Bachelor’s degree and a valid driver’s license are required.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on patient support programs, access tools, and reimbursement services.
• Inform on product acquisition options, specialty networks, and white-bagging support.
• Provide local insights on payer policies to educate providers and payors.
• Collaborate with Oncology stakeholders for key account management.
• Report payer trends to Patient Services and account teams.
• Establish and maintain provider relationships within the territory.
• Stay current on managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities.
