Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based professional to educate providers on payer policies, reimbursement, and access options in oncology. The role supports national and regional payor activities while collaborating with multiple internal teams.

The ideal candidate has oncology/hematology-oncology experience, strong billing/coding knowledge, and HCIR credentialing readiness. A bachelor’s degree is required, and a valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• Oncology/hematology-oncology experience required, including therapies, reimbursement, and access models.
• Strong understanding of coverage, coding, billing, and payer policies.
• Ability to explain coding/billing to national/regional audiences across care settings.
• HCIR credentialing requirements may apply to facilities within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on patient support programs and reimbursement tools.
• Explain product acquisition and access options, e.g., specialty networks and white-bagging.
• Provide local payer policy insights to educate providers on claims submission.
• Collaborate with Oncology stakeholders for key account management.
• Report payer trends to Patient Services and MHC teams.
• Build and maintain provider relationships within the territory.
