Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of Sales/Marketing experience
• Master’s degree and 6 years of Sales/Marketing experience
• Bachelor’s degree or 8 years of Sales/Marketing experience
• Associate’s degree and 10 years of Sales/Marketing experience
• High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Sales/Marketing experience
• AND 2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals to support district accounts
• Track progress of marketing messages and programs and communicate results
• Manage district teams to maximize performance and achieve sales and budget targets
• Screen, interview, and hire candidates and ensure training compliance
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, other business units) and share best practices
• Develop local Opinion Leader relationships to achieve aligned objectives
• Lead district sales meetings and guide districts in achieving objectives
